EB-321 Epoxy Base Coat

EB-321 is a two component 100% solids epoxy resin flooring system developed and specially formulated as a base coat, offering an excellent build up and levelling properties for the Sindec Metallic Epoxy System.

Decorative epoxy is typically used to create a smooth and glossy surface with vibrant colours or intricate patterns. A thicker application allows for better colour depth and clarity, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the finished surface.

Introducing EB-321 as a middle layer on a metallic systems helps build up a system which minimises imperfections ready for a “design layer” , using a Decorative Epoxy resin such as T800, T800+ or T-1000 to finish off with a smooth and glossy surface with vibrant colours or intricate patterns. A thicker application allows for better colour depth and clarity, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the finished surface. Available pre-pigmented in Black, Grey and White.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pour the hardener component B into the resin component A.
2. Mix both components for a minimum of 3 minutes using a low-speed paddle mixer (300-400rpm).
3. Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the bucket.
4. Pour the mixed resin into a clean bucket and mix for an additional minute to ensure thorough mixing.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
1. EB-321 should be applied in a continuous film at 200-700g/m²
2. Use a roller, rubber spreader, or squeegee to achieve the required depth and finish.
3. The self-levelling properties allow for natural flow and spread, creating a level surface.
4. A thick application helps fill any imperfections, resulting in a smoother and more even finish, ready for the design coat.
