EQ-100 Epoxy Quartz Screed

EQ-100 is a 3 component, natural or multi coloured decorative resin floor screed. It provides an exceptionally durable, decorative, and minimal maintenance, in-situ flooring system for hand application to a range of difficult substrates. It can be laid by sledge, and power floated.

It may also be used for coving and up stands. EQ-100 is a very designer friendly system, available in a range of colours and sizes that can be blended to create unique mixes to suit any design requirement.

COVERAGE
Coverage varies widely due to the porosity and profile of different substrates.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pour Component B (hardener) into Component A (resin).
2. Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes using a low speed paddle mixer (300-400rpm).
3. Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the bucket.
4. Pour the mixed resin into a clean bucket and mix for an additional minute.
5. Transfer the mixed resin into a forced action mixer and thoroughly mix with Part C.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
1. EQ-100 should be hand or sledge applied and finished using a steel trowel or power float to spread the material to the required thickness. Compact and close the surface to a smooth flat finish using a steel trowel or power float. Keep the surface of the trowel clean using Sindec Tool Cleaner as it will quickly become sticky with the binding resin.
2. EQ-100 can be sealed in certain applications such as toilets, showers, and kitchens. Allow the EQ-100 to cure for 24 hours and apply the sealer. Spread with a squeegee, and back roll using a short pile roller to remove any excess sealing coat. Further sealing coats can be applied 12-24 hours later if a complete seal is required.
3. Should be maintained throughout the screed using aluminium or stainless steel trim at the same depth as the screed.
