Description
POLY-ECO CLEAR High Performance PU Sealer
POLY-ECO CLEAR is a waterborne high performance, high gloss clear coat, aliphatic polyurethane resin. It cures giving hard and flexible floor coatings, abrasion resistant. It provides a surface protection for heavily used floorings. This material does not discolour upon sunlight exposure, making it suitable for outdoor applications. Being almost solventless, it can be used in public areas with no need to close them. Colourless and pigmented versions are available.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pour the hardener component B into the resin component A.
2. Mix both components for a minimum of 3 minutes using a low-speed paddle mixer (300-400rpm).
3. The product can be diluted with water up to 15%.
4. Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the bucket.
5. For thorough mixing, pour the resin into a clean bucket and mix for an additional minute.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
1. Application Rate: Apply between 100g to 150g/m² for each coat. Thicker applications can lead to blistering and/or loss of clarity.
2. Application Technique:
– Use a lint-free or short pile roller to distribute the material from one end to the other.
– Apply in the direction of product spillage and then in the cross direction to cover approximately 1.30m without overlapping the previous roll strip back to 1.35m, overlapping less than 5cm.
– Switch to a dry roller to extend the overlap slowly, ensuring there are no excess areas of material.
3. Maintaining Fresh Edges: Always keep the edge of the application “fresh” to achieve a surface without overlaps.
Safety: As of August 2023 training required for professional & industrial users of isocyanate based products.
