Description

PU SCREED HF Polyurethane Screed

PU-HF is a heavy duty, trowel applied polyurethane floor screed for use on concrete and polymer modified cementitious screeds.

PU-HF is designed with extreme durability, impact, abrasion, and chemical resistance. Its lightly textured finish makes the product ideal for both wet and dry processing environments such as the food, beverage and chemical industries. Dairies, bakeries and heavy engineering where high impact and temperature occur.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
Stable to Steam Cleaning and Hot Water Exposure: Withstands rigorous cleaning processes at a thickness of 9.0 mm.
Variable Thickness: Can be laid at a minimum thickness of 6mm for versatility.
Very High Chemical Resistance: Ideal for environments exposed to harsh chemicals.
Slip Resistant: Enhances safety in wet and slippery conditions.
Non-Tainting: Safe for use in food and beverage facilities.
Seamless: Provides a continuous, joint-free finish that is hygienic and easy to clean.
High Abrasion Resistance: Withstands heavy traffic and mechanical wear.

PACKAGING KITS
29.6kg Kit: Contains Component A + B??+ C
Part A Resin: 2.500kg
Part B Hardener: 2.100kg
Part C Aggregate: 25.00kg

COVERAGE
Coverage varies due to the porosity and profile of different substrates.
2.00 kg/m?? per mm
12 kg/m?? at 6.0 mm
18 kg/m?? at 9.0 mm
*Note: Coverage figures are theoretical. Practical coverage rates may vary due to wastage factors and site conditions.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Optimum Temperature Range: 10 ??? 25??C
Humidity: Relative humidity should not exceed 75% (ideally 50-65%).
Temperature Control: Ensure substrate and uncured floor are at least 3??C above the dew point temperature to prevent condensation or blooming.

SUBSTRATE REQUIREMENTS
Clean and Dry Surface: Free of contamination with a minimum tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm??.
Surface Preparation: Grinding, light vacuum-contained shot-blasting, or planing recommended.
Anchorage Grooves: Cut grooves to twice the thickness of the floor finish x 10mm wide at key points.
Damp-Proof Membrane: Required for concrete bases in contact with the ground.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
1. Apply Sindec EPR-100 or Sindec DPM-230 using a medium nap roller. Ensure edges and anchorage grooves are well coated without flooding.
2. Pre-mix the coloured resin component. Add the hardener and mix using a low-speed mixer for 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a forced action mixer, add aggregate in stages, and mix for at least 3 minutes until uniform.
3. Apply the mixed screed to the desired thickness using a steel float, ensuring anchor grooves are filled. Protect the surface with Kraft paper during curing.
4. Allow a minimum of 12 hours curing at 20??C. Re-prime if curing exceeds 48 hours.
5. Protect the cured product from damp, condensation, and water for at least 4 days.

Choose PU-HF for a resilient, easy-to-maintain flooring solution that stands up to the toughest conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance and safety.

Safety: As of August 2023 training required for professional & industrial users of isocyanate based products.
